They always say time changes things, but you actually have to change them yourself. -Andy Warhol

I feel as if I'm something of a late bloomer. I bounced around a lot when I was younger, and I always felt like something was missing. It was in my thirties that I discovered that counseling is my calling. I love the power of story, and everyone's story is unique and rich. I've been a professional counselor for five years, but I bring a wealth of life experience with me, including serving in the Army.

I love working with all populations, and regardless of your race, ethnicity, gender, or sexual orientation, my goal is always to provide you with what I like to call the safest space that you will ever encounter. I want you to tell your story as you see it without fear of judgement or social bias. I tend not to subscribe to just one theoretical orientation simply because there is no "one size fits all" method of counseling. Rather, I draw from many different theories to devise a plan that will be the most helpful for you. I look forward to meeting you and becoming a part of your journey.
