What to Expect

What can I expect for the first session?
Sessions will typically last for an hour. Before you arrive, you can complete your intake forms online or print, fill them out, and bring them with you. In our first session we will take time to get to know each other and start the process of defining your goals.
Do you have parking?

Free parking is available for my building. 

Do you plan on accepting insurance?

Yes, I currently acceptMcLaren Health Advantage/Medicaid, Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Blue Care Network. As more insurances become available, they will be posted on the site. 

Do you accept private pay?

Yes. I accept all major credit cards and payment is due at the end of the session. Veteran discounts are also available. Please call for details. 

Where are you located?

I am located in Birmingham at950 E. Maple Road, in Suite 122. When you enter the main door, my office is to the left on the first floor.

How do I book an appointment?

You can schedule through the online portal, or you can call (248) 721-4662.

How do I log into the client portal?

When you request a first appointment, the address and a password to the patient portal will be emailed to you. Use your email and the password that is provided to log on for the first time. You will then be directed to create a password, which you'll use to log on in the future. Next, you'll be asked to fill out and digitally sign several forms, which shouldn't take longer than 20 minutes or so. 

Do you send appointment reminders?

Yes, I can send email and text reminders.

Do you follow any standards for client privacy?

Just like a doctor's office, HIPPA governs how your information is handled. It's private and secure.
